    Madder Root in the Sun

Working on my inventory for Spring Crafty Wonderland, which will involve many hand dyed elements. These Madder Root dyed pieces will line the interior of my Bird Mandala totes. I love the idea of opening up the bag and having a special, almost secret, element inside.

  • Indigo and Blockprint with a Natural Leather Strap

Indigo and Blockprint with a Natural Leather Strap

I am truly loving this naturally dyed indigo shoulder bag. I finished it up on Monday and I've been using it as my go to bag. It's roomy like a tote, but the leather strap adds a more sophisticated touch. As you can see, I use my Peace Bird pouch and Feather Coin Purse to hold all of my stuff inside the bag.

  • Natural Colors

    Natural Colors

I have some exciting new work in the pipe line that I can't wait to show! It involves fabirc dying with some great natural dyes such as indigo, logwood and madder. These colors create blues, purples, pinks reds and greys, all from natural sources including roots, leaves and bark. Additionally, I have new linocut pillows, napkins, totes and clutches with natural leather handles and brass hardware.

  • New Block Print Samples

I'm really excited about this new series of animal block prints. I am in the midst of making samples of new zippered pouches. I will have 2 more animal block prints, one just for kids! Stay tuned!
